The title is taken from Old Covenant prophet Malachi (Chapter 4) who describes the blessing of those who fear the Lord. “But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in his wings.”  Malachi is also referring to the coming Messiah, Jesus, the Son of Righteousness  who rise from the dead
