The Mountain of the LORD is where God meets and dwells with his people. In the Old Covenant, Moses the mediator was necessary to stand between holy God and sinful man, but in the New Covenant, Jesus has become the Mediator between God and man.
“And it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains and all the nations will flow into it.” (Isaiah 2:2ff)
