Holy God met Moses on Mt.Horeb, his holy mountain. God appeared as a fire in a bush that did not burn up . He told Moses that the ground on which he was standing was holy, and that Moses would save his people from Egyptian slavery and bring them back to this mountain. (Exodus 3 and 4).
