My Vessel Series was inspired by quotes from Michael O’Brien’s novel Island of the World, about the journey/pilgrimage of poet Josip Lasta from his homeland of Croatia to New York City. The themes of this book are universal.
It is everyone’s journey. We are vessels — a recurring theme.
