This is a subtractive collograph. In other words, the plate was inked and then the ink was removed to produce the image. Basically drawing into the ink. Thus the series of three Prodigal pieces become lighter as they progress. The third is called Trinity, because not only are The Father and The Son present at this homecoming, but The Spirit as well.
