The Hebrew text, Yeshua, is visible in stylized gold characters at the top of this painting. Yeshua, Hebrew for the name, Jesus, reveals profound ties to YHWH / God’s eternal nature and His role as Savior. The Hebrew word “yasha” means “to save” or “to deliver.”  His name encapsulates a declaration of faith in the God, Who Is, Who Was, and Who Is To Come and who came to save. The Incarnation is YHWH’s love letter to the world. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation, (Col. 1:13ff  “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. . . .”).

“Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day,” Psalm 96:2
