Under His Wings / Rescued – Nets of God Series

This painting began as an acrylic painting on paper that I had named, “He Has Taken Captive, His Captives.”
Recently, I added wings using oils and cold wax medium and applied  gold leaf to reference the God who rescues. (See BANDING poem at the bottom of the gallery page).

“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge. (Psalm 57: 1)
. . . hide me in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 18:10)
