This genre scene is from a series of watercolors of Asheville’s Dreamland Theater Fleamarket. With outstretched arms, a small boy reaches expectantly for a prize pumpkin. This painting was sold as a Purchase Award through the North Carolina Watercolor Society exhibit to Wachovia Bank which has since been dissolved and I have had the painting returned to me.
