The title is take from Kerry Livgren’s song, Mask of the Great Deceiver, written after he was converted to Christianity. His band was formerly Kansas (Dust in the Wind). More importantly the title references Jesus’s words to the seventy-two disciples who returned to tell Jesus that even the demons were subject to them in Jesus’ name. He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven,” (Luke 10:17-18).
