This painting is about redemption. The three figures in the “rescue vessel” are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This eternal triune God spoke the world into existence out of water by the Word of his power. The Almighty God also created time and entered time and space at the Incarnation. Here God became a man to redeem a people for himself. Jesus, the Son of God, is the red central figure in this painting. He opened heavens door. You may see a smaller red figure in the center of the square vessel-like shape pushing open the access to glory. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! By this divine intervention, the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ, the people of God are saved.
