This piece is listed under both Incarnation and Gardener Series. The God from heaven (referenced by the gold leaf)  became flesh, The Incarnation. He descended to earth as The Seed (Genesis 3:15) and rise from the earth to conquer death.

There is a wrapper from my gold leaf embedded in the lower earthly part of the painting and near the top, gold leaf above the word JUSTICE. There are two figures: the suffering servant, God the Son, and to his right, the judge,  God the Father, whose wrath he took. The LORD of heaven and earth died to bring justice.  He took the wrath of God we deserved.
