This painting is part of my Incarnation Series. It tells of the God who became flesh and lived among us, his sheep, who are visible across the center of the painting. Jesus is the incarnate “Lamb of God,” who was sacrificed for us. And he tends his flock like a shepherd, and gathers his lambs in his arms, (Isaiah 40).  “He will come with might and his arm rules for him,” ( Isaiah 40).
