Psalm 19 is a doxology of praise to the Word of God. “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork. . . .The law of the LORD is perfect . . . more to be desired that gold!” In this painting I am also considering the “line that has gone out through the earth and their words to the end of the world.” Line/voice may refer to sound/frequency and God’s Word creating and holding all things together, Col.1:15ff.
