This painting references my series called Global City Babel, where words are manipulated for power and meaning is relative. We live in a surveillance state. Our personal tracking device includes our health information, so we feel happy and secure. Instead of a local doctor, we check in with our Smartphone. We are being alienated from real and personal community.
