My Global CIty Babel Series developed as part of an on-going series called WORD /IMAGE. It is about the God who is both Word of God and Image of God and thus resolves the dichotomy between word and image.
These paintings juxtapose text and image and paint, making marks, layering, and stripping away to allow the viewer a glimpse of the eternally relevant story where words and images have love and meaning.
